USVN’s New Oil Tanker Construction and Acquisition Project in the Caspian Sea
In the context of a rapidly transforming global energy industry, USVN EXPORT LOGISTICS continues to assert its position with a new project to construct and acquire a fleet of oil and fuel tankers in the Caspian Sea, aiming to directly support refining and petrochemical operations in the region.
The project marks an important milestone in USVN’s strategy to expand its logistics infrastructure. The company has partnered with both domestic and international shipyards to implement a program for the construction of 11 new specialized oil and fuel tankers dedicated to operations in the Caspian Sea — one of the most strategically significant regions in the global oil and gas industry.
At the same time, USVN will acquire up to 10 pre-owned vessels to quickly enhance transport capacity, ensuring reliable supply chain performance and stable operations for refineries across Central Asia.
According to the plan, the entire construction and acquisition program is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2028. Once operational, USVN’s fleet will play a key role in transporting crude oil, refined fuels, and SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) between strategic ports in the region — contributing to the optimization of the global energy supply chain.
Investing in a new tanker fleet not only enhances USVN EXPORT LOGISTICS’ maritime transport capacity, but also reflects the company’s strong commitment to developing sustainable energy infrastructure — in line with its goal of greening the supply chain and reducing carbon emissions in the oil and gas industry.
With a long-term vision and a well-structured investment strategy, USVN is steadily building its position as a pioneer in global energy logistics, connecting the world through a next-generation oil and fuel supply network.
